Christopher “Cory” Falldine is Chief Information Security Officer at Johnson County Community College and a founding member of KANE. His higher-education career began at Emporia State University in technical support and grew into increasingly broad technology and executive leadership roles. He served primarily as Associate Vice President of IT while CIO before moving into executive operations leadership as Executive Vice President, Operations & Economic Development (COO).

Across those roles, Cory has worked at the intersection of technology, cybersecurity, operations, digital transformation, and institutional strategy. His return to a dedicated CISO role reflects a long-standing interest in helping higher-education institutions modernize while building security programs that enable—not obstruct—their mission.
