Tevin Manuel is founder and CEO of Tandem Cyber and serves as President and CEO of the KANE Consortium. His path into cybersecurity began in the U.S. Air Force at McConnell Air Force Base, where he worked in cyber defense and mission-defense operations protecting critical systems.
After leaving active military service, Tevin worked in higher education and saw firsthand how difficult it was for smaller institutions to build dedicated cybersecurity teams. That experience helped shape Tandem Cyber, which he founded to make practical cybersecurity and compliance expertise more accessible to organizations with limited internal security capacity.
Graduate study in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity at Carnegie Mellon University; cybersecurity credentials reported include CISSP, GCIH, and GCIA.
As President and CEO, Tevin helps lead KANE’s day-to-day work, partner relationships, cybersecurity programming, and member collaboration. He brings a practitioner’s perspective to helping institutions build security capacity without having to solve every challenge independently.
