Tom Peters is Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Central Community College and a founding member of KANE. His career has combined institutional technology and cybersecurity leadership with long-running service to Nebraska’s broader education and networking community.

Tom serves on the Nebraska Information Technology Commission’s Education Council and has been a higher-education leader within the Network Nebraska Advisory Group, including service as Higher Education Co-Chair. That statewide perspective has made him an important bridge between campus technology needs, cybersecurity, shared infrastructure, and regional collaboration.
